Canadian Standards Association (CSA)
Like UL, CSA is an independent, not-for-profit organization providing testing, examination and certification services for a wide range of products used in Canada. It develops CSA standards through much the same kinds of procedures used by UL. Although UL and CSA Standards for wire and cable are not always identical, there is substantial similarity between them.
CSA assigns individual file numbers to manufacturers for each type of wire and cable certified. Kemcor maintains the following CSA file numbers:
